It’s a wonderful life!

One of my most favorite stamp sets in the Holiday catalog, (and by the way it’s retiring), is called:  Wonderful Life.  It’s on page 46 of the Holiday catalog and I feel that it’s one of those quiet sets that I don’t want you to miss out on!

Getting ready for one of my last Christmas classes, I had to use this set.  It is simply sweet!  You can do wedding cards, fall cards and Christmas cards without even thinking outside the box!

Here’s my card for next week:

This is a perfect set to use our Blends on, which is what I did on this card.  The only thing it’s missing are the children’s heads inside the car! We had six children in my family growing up and I can remember traveling with all kinds of packages on top of the car, covered of course with a large tarp.  But, when we were packed up and going down south to visit my Mom’s family, it was always an adventure!  The best memories of my childhood were those gatherings!

The next card is a little different.  But, in linking these two cards, I would like to think this is the destination of the above car filled with presents:

This stamp set is in the Annual catalog, on page 54, it called At Home with You.  This is available in a bundle with framelits, saving you 10%!  One thing you can do with the framelits is have the door open!! All of the items were cut our with framelits including the squares of windows in the door.

This is another great set to practice using the Blends.  I used the wood textured designer paper in the background with the woodgrain embossing folder.

Hope you enjoyed the cards today.  Which one is your favorite?  I would encourage you to get your Wonderful Life set ordered before it’s too late.  Retiring stamp sets are only guaranteed until December 20th.  That’s right around the corner!

Happy Stamping!
