Good morning! Wishing you all a day filled with gratitude, laughter and good times with family and friends! We are truly blessed here in the United States and today is set aside to contemplate on that thought.
Peter and I will celebrate with our oldest son Carl and his wife Christine and Christine’s Mom and Dad. We will be surrounded by our sweet grandchildren, so that always means lots of hugs and smiles all around. This year we are so happy that my sister Jewell and my niece Tatiana will also be joining us!
My youngest son, Travis is celebrating with Tami and her family north of here. While we will miss them both, I am torn by wanting them here and having to share them! I’m thankful that they live very close and we get to visit with them often.
So, hope you all are with your loved ones and enjoying the feast of your choice!
I am in my happy place, stamping and doing laundry! Yes, laundry on Thanksgiving! Some things are never completely done, right stampers? Doing the laundry gives me the time to stamp inbetween each load! Laundry doesn’t end and the inspiration to stamp doesn’t either!
So, here are the cards I have been working on. They are for my product class this coming Wednesday. I am featuring the stamp set Cheers to the Year on page 37 of the Holiday catalog. That whole suite is just beautiful, which makes it so easy to design cards.
This card I paired up our copper foil paper, dsp from the Year of Cheer selection and a silver foil snowflake. All on a tranquil tide card base.
One of the bonuses in this set is that it can be used for a wedding or anniversary card as seen above. How perfect for a winter celebration!
This beautiful gold foil paper is perfect to pair up with real red. I adore this beautiful ribbon that above is lined with gold, but, is also avalable lined with silver.
This card celebrates the new year. I do know some people who don’t send out Christmas cards, but, send out New Years cards instead. This suite has some foil washi that adds so much to this card design.
Well, time to switch laundry and then design the last card for this class.
Enjoy your time with family and friends. Remember that tomorrow is not guaranteed, tell them you love them today!
