Ahhhh, fall is in the air!

Fall is my favorite time of year!  I noticed that the leaves are already turning when Peter and I went out for a little drive yesterday.  The cool crisp air in the morning is fabulous!

I was asked to make a birthday card for a class and I decided to pair up a beautiful fall designer paper from the Painted Autumn series, (page 49 of the the Holiday catalog), and a woodgrain pattern from the Wood Textures stack, (Annual catalog, page 187).

My go to color for fall is cajun craze.  I like to pair it up with wild wasabi.  Here is what I came up with:

Everything always looks better in person!  I love using the happy birthday die.  On this card I cut it out twice, one in early espresso and one in wild wasabi.  I used our adhesive sheets so that I could easily put them together with a shadow effect and on the card front without any messy glue marks.  (Sometimes I tend to over do the glue!)

Happy Stamping!
