Fall is my favorite time of year! I noticed that the leaves are already turning when Peter and I went out for a little drive yesterday. The cool crisp air in the morning is fabulous!
I was asked to make a birthday card for a class and I decided to pair up a beautiful fall designer paper from the Painted Autumn series, (page 49 of the the Holiday catalog), and a woodgrain pattern from the Wood Textures stack, (Annual catalog, page 187).
My go to color for fall is cajun craze. I like to pair it up with wild wasabi. Here is what I came up with:
Everything always looks better in person! I love using the happy birthday die. On this card I cut it out twice, one in early espresso and one in wild wasabi. I used our adhesive sheets so that I could easily put them together with a shadow effect and on the card front without any messy glue marks. (Sometimes I tend to over do the glue!)
