Hooray! I received my letter from Stampin’ UP! confirming my Alaska trip!

This is the first time that I have earned a trip prior to going on the current years trip!  I know that a number of demonstrators routinely do this, however, I am not one of them.  I am pround and very grateful to all my stamping family both demonstrators and stampers for helping me achieve this goal.

Peter will be going on the Alaska trip next year.  We are paraying that after surgery this will give him a goal to look forward to.  He actually has relatives in Alaska on his fathers side.  Many years ago some of his uncles moved to Alaska for the opportunities offered there.  So, it will be a dream come true event for him!

I did get my demonstrator order in for lots and lots of new products from our Holiday catalog!  I will be doing some intense designing the next few days!  My goal is o have samples made up well ahead of time to share with you on upcoming classes.

Here are a few more cards that we have done at some of last months classes:

This is from the  sweet suite Birthday Delivery.  I LOVE the fact that you can use the framelits to cut out images from the designer paper.  So, you have the option of stamping and coloring in the images or cutting them right from the paper to speed up your card making progress!

This bicycle is from the Bike Ride bundle paired up with the Just Add Color Specialty designer paper.  The houses are cut directly from the specialty paper and highlighted with some markers.  The background here is made with our watercolor paper.  We used our sponge brayers to add emerald envy to the bottom and dapper demin to the top.  After brayering we quickly brushed over the entire area with an aqua painter to blend the colors. The stencils that we have for our embossing paste can also be used with our brayers!  We used post it notes to hold the stencil in place and cover up the other portions on the front of the card.  We then brayered with our wonderful new in color lemon lime twist!

Well, happy stamping, I need to get to work!
