Stamping in my workshop with some retiring favorites!

During these last few weeks before the new Annual Catalog is launched I enjoy pulling out some of my favorite designer paper and trying to use up as much as I can!  I have one more card to design for Saturday, but, this is what we will be stamping so far:

I had a request for a baby boy card.  I had purchased the stamp set Moon Baby rather late from the Occasions Catalog and had not used it yet.  I decided to match it up with some designer paper from the Petals & Paisley collection.  I paired up the little bit of mint maccron and garden green for this sweet little card.  The image is stamped on our shimmer paper and colored in with a blender pen.

This designer paper is from Petals & Paisley also.  Here’s a fun fact:  this stamp set, Baby Bear is the top seller in the current Annual Catalog after the bundles!  He is a 3 step process and looks so soft.  The stamp was designed from a photograph.

I just can’t get enough of this beautiful designer paper!  Again a selection from the Petals & Paisleys collection.  Highlighted with copper in the design and edged with our copper foil paper.  A beautiful pair up with night of navy.

You really need to see this card in person!  Again, I used shimmer paper and embossed the images with copper embossing powder.  I then used my favortie tool, my handy aqua painter, and painted in some marina mist followed up with wisteria wonder.  The leaves are painted in with wild wasabi.  The shadowing is in smoky slate.  A very thin boarder of basic black and marina mist on the card base of wisteria wonder.  This is from the Rose Wonder stamp set which did not retire!  Hooray!  This stamp set is so beautiful!  The images and the verses which cover sympathy, birthday, thank you and a lovely friend message are just over the top!

Back to the workshop!

Happy Stamping!
