Good Morning!

Although the sun is not shining here and we may end up with some more rain, (yuck!!), I’m having a lovely time here in my workroom!  I have been playing with my new stamp sets and getting ready for Bingo, which is this Friday, May 26th at 6pm.

One more very important item:  due to the response of my special open house/thank you party for my customers, I have decided to extend my Open House hours.  Open House is on Friday, June 9th from 9 – 7pm and Saturday, June 10th from 9-12.  Please RSVP if you are planning on attending.  You can read about my special offering on the drop down menu for June in the heading above this post. You know that I am always a tad behind, so I need every minute prior to the start time to prepare for you, so, please no early birds!

Let me share with you!:

I did a little brayering and masking for this very simple card.  I am so totally in LOVE with this verse:  just breathe!!  Isn’t that what we all need to do.  When things get crazy, just stamp and breathe and pretty soon things look better.  There is so little we are really in control of, taking control of our inks and paper is a great start to getting life in order!  (Sound a little crazy, don’t I?)  I just LOVE what I do, it will be 10 years in August and I still enjoy this “job”.  Back to the card, the chair and the little drink are from the Seasonal Layers Thinlits in the new Annual Catalog.  The verse is from the companion stamp set, Colorful Seasons.  (You are going to fall in LOVE with this set!!)

The designer paper in the background is one that is retiring, called Irresistibly Floral Speciality Designer Series Paper, (wow, that is a mouthful of words!).  Any how, we brayered on it with calypso coral and so saffron.  Where it’s embossed it does not take with ink, so after brayering you wipe the excess ink off with a paper towel.  The cut out is from the Flourish Thinlits which are also in our new Annual Catalog!  Hooray, they are so beautiful and delicate and they are staying!!

Closing to play!! Happy Stamping!
