Hello! Playing with the new stamp set Beautiful You!

I’m totally obscessed with this stamp set.  I received mine at our local On Stage as a Prize Patrol gift and have been off and running with it since then.

I am hosting a card at Camp Stamp in Oga this weekend featuring, yes, you guessed it, Beautiul You!

It’s in our Occasions Catalog on page 24, take a closer look……you’ll need this one for your stamp collection.

Here are a few samples to push you over the edge!:

The image was stamped on watercolor paper with basic black ink.  I used our new watercolor pencils to add color and blended it with my trusty aqua painter.

I had some scrap designer paper from the Cupcakes & Carousels designer paper stack.  It combines such beautiful soft  colors like so saffron and  calypso coral.  So, again, I pulled out my watercolor pencils and aqua painter and matched her outfit to the beautiful paper.

One more for today:

I have seen a number of cards where they are using either watercolor pencils or ink and aqua painters to add a long skirt onto the image.  After looking at all the samples I had here, (which were almost all pink or red), I decided I needed a green dress.  Maybe getting ready for St Patricks day?!  Not sure!  The image was stamped on watercolor paper and with my aqua painter, I added some emerald envy, marina mist for the background and grounded it with soft suede.  A few small pearls at her waist finish it off.

What do you think?  Are you in love with th Beautiful You stamp set yet?  If not more examples will be posted tomorrow!

Happy Stamping!
