Here are the last two cards for my November Sponge Brayer Techniques class:
I went with a monochomatic look with this card. The base of the card is early espresso and so is the ink color. I used the striped cardstock from the Irresistibly Floral Speciality Paper. I started on the right hand side and kept going over it until I got the ombre look. The motorcycle is embossed with clear embossing powder on white cardstock. I brayered over it in all directions this time to create lines of “light” behind the bike.
Last, but, not least here is the final card we made:
I sponged on three colors on the backgroud of this card. I started with marina mist, then did the ground with chocolate chip and finished off the edges of the top with dapper demin. The branch was stamped on crumb cake and colored in with markers.
Well, hope you enjoyed the techinique cards this month. Do you have a favorite one? Let me know!
P.S. Did I mention that if you don’t have one of our NEW SPONGE BRAYERS, you need one!!
