I know that you’d rather I go directly to the stamping updates, but, let me get a couple of things out of the way first! Thanks!
My father who is 90 is visiting and so we have had a lot of family gatherings both planned and unplanned since his arrival. All have been tons of fun with lots of laughter. Not that that is an excuse, but, I have not been down in my workshop as much as usual!
We took my younger sister, Mary, and my Dad for their first pedicure! At 90 and 50 something it was about time.
I purchased a rather large raft for in the pool because it had enough holes in it for all the grandchildren. We finally had a beautiful day with everyone swimming and got the perfect photo of Carl and Christine with all their children:
Well that’s all for the family updates. How about some cards? (I’m hoping that you said yes!)
This month I am featuring the stamp set Joyful Nativity in my product class.
Here are a few of the cards we will be making tomorrow in class:
I used our copper embossing powder for the angel and the “Joy”. The bottom designer paper is from the Affectionately Yours selection. I used my markers to color in the larger flower and leaves to give it a more Christmasy look. (Is that a real word: Christmasy?) It is layered up with emerald envy and the base of the card is crumb cake.
This card base is one of our newest in colors, dapper denim. The designer paper is from the Moroccan collection. So, my point is, you don’t have to use Christmas paper for Christmas cards. Check out all of your designer paper collections and find one that suits your card and design!
