Well, I’m back from my fabulous vacation touring the Mediterranean with Stampin’ Up! thanks to all of you. It has taken me a bit to get my motor started and get back into the swing of things! (Hence the delay in posting!)
My daughter in law and I left on May 18th and came home on May 29th. So, Christine spent her 16th wedding anniversary with her mother in law! She was a trooper! We had more fun and created such great memories, I really don’t think it could have been improved in any way!
Above is a picture of Christine. This was the first meal we enjoyed on day one exploring Barcelona. We ate outside at a little cafe in a large public square. There was so much to watch between all the different people and the street performers. It was a lot to take in!
This is the view we had from our room. It looked like a painting!
I’ll write a little each day so as not to bore you to sleep with our adventures!
We got back at midnight on Sunday, May 29th, had a cook out at Carl and Christine’s home on Monday, tried to rest on Tuesday and started getting ready for my “After Party” and Open House on Wednesday and Thursday! Whew!
I think that this is the first time I have come back from vacation so totally exhausted! We walked and walked and walked! I literally had blisters covering both feet! Ouch, thank goodness for Advil and blister band aides!
Thanks to all who ordered while I was gone. They were invited to my “After Party” on Friday, June 3rd. I had 3 projects prepared for them. They also received their new spiral bound catalogs, door prizes and snacks inspired from the trip. (Including the famous Limoncello from Sorrento where the best lemons in the world are grown.)
Here’s one of their projects. We used the “A Little Foxy Suite”. You can check it out on page 57 of the new Annual Catalog. (If you don’t have a catalog, just let me know, I have a bundle of them here just waiting for you!)
The verse is from the stamp set Layering Love, on page 71 of the Annual Catalog.
This card uses the Hostess stamp set, Gift of Love, on page 201. It’s a beautiful set in photopolymer which makes it super easy to line up all the floral elements. Besides the two step stamping the set includes some lovely verses.
Here is card number three. This was one of the cards designed by Stampin’ Up! for our make and takes on the ship. So, I decided to share it with you! The flower and bee are from the new stamp set Touches of Texture, (which you must check out!). There are so make great images in this stamp set it’s a MUST for everyone’s stamp room.
