Life changes and I’m just trying to run along side and keep up! In doing that I have to adjust some of my class schedules and prices. (Yikes!!! This is a hard one to cover!)
Hoping that you all will understand and continue to support my stamping business.
First, those of you who come here on a regular basis know that my husband, Peter has Parkinson’s disease. Along with the progress of this disease one of the changes here is that Peter is no longer driving. He had some testing done and they felt it was better due to his response times that he no longer drive. I’m so proud of the way he has excepted this big life style change, (not an easy thing)!
So, that is where the class times have some adjusting to do. Peter goes to an exercise class Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. His Tuesday and Wednesday classes begin at 12:00, so I need to get him there by 11:30. Therefore, classes on Tuesday and Wednesday will begin at 8:00am and end at 11:00. His class is about 15 minutes away and I do come back home after dropping him off. So, if you are not quite finished, you may stay and finish, however, I may not be here the entire time.
The next difficult subject is my classes prices. I have not increased my class prices since I started in 2008! But, as you know, my supply costs have gone up. I have decided, after much praying and discussion to increase classes to $18.00. The only exception will be for my Saturday class that I run with one of my downline, Amy P. My Saturday class will remain at $15.
My cards are always “mail ready”. Meaning they are finished on the front and the inside of each card and I always include an envelope. I try to always give you the lastest and greatest of all Stampin’ Up! has to offer and I will continue to do that as long as I’m holding classes!
So there is the long and short of it! Whew! I have been totally putting off this difficult discussion. I pray that you all will understand. If you have questions please let me know. I certainly don’t want this to deter anyone from coming to class due to financial reasons.
Lets look at some cards and relax!
These were all done at my Technques class this month. It was a bit time consuming, but, they all turned out beautiful! If you haven’t tried it you really should experiment with paper piecing.
Thank you for your time and understanding!
