Hoping that you all had a glorious Mother’s Day! Being a Mom is so much more than giving birth to a child. It’s caring, loving and nurturing those little, (and big), people in your lives. We are so thankful for all the wonderful, strong women in our lives.
Being a grandmother has been such a blessing! Even in the mist of terrible events and unexpected life changes joy can be found in those little sweet faces! Pulling into their driveway and having all the children come running out for hugs puts smiles on our faces that lasts for days!
Bet you are tired of my chatting! I have some cards for you this week that were made at my Product class this month. The stamp set Tap Tap Tap is going to be retiring, but, we had a last hooray with it last week.
I thought this card with it’s green and gold tones would be suitable for a man. (Even though it has a bow on it.) Not too frilly, the background is embossed with the Zig Zag embossing folder, which is on the retirement list. I used whisper white for the card base, pear pizzazz for the main layer accented with mossy meadow and delightful dijon.
Just a note: Next week Wednesday, May 18th, I will be leaving for the Stampin’ Up! cruise. Anyone who places a $35 or more on line order with me using my Hostess code: RJ49ZWC4 is invited to an After Party! Come join me on Friday, June 3rd 9-12 or 3-8 for a FREE class!
Second note: Keep Saturday, June 4th open and plan on coming to my Open House! RSVP if you are planning on attending so I can make sure I have enough cardstock cut! We will have projects, prizes and of course snacks!
