I told you yesterday how much I was loving the Love You Sew stamp set. Here is another example why! I used the cross stitch to accent the dsp behind the typewriter. Also those sweet little stamped buttons that are popped up are also from Love You Sew.
The typewriter is from the Tap Tap Tap stamp set on page 104 of the Annual catalog. I know I’m dating myself, but do you remember taking typing in high school?
I wanted my little typewriter to stand out so I decided on red. I stamped the image twice, once on red and once on very vanilla. I cut out the paper portion of the image and adhered it to the fussy cut typewriter. I then used my white gel pen to white out the buttons and the bar holding the paper back. My black marker was used to color in the tape on the spools.
I love the idea of having the main image offset to the side. I think the little buttons anchor it all together.
