I love it when I find a layout that hits my fancy! In my Kismet class last month we made this card, (which was my favorite one of the class).
Very simple card using washi tape and the Botanical Builder Framelits Dies. We used the Timeless Textures stamp set for a very subtle background in crumb cake. That’s the squares you see behind the washi. The words and the dots are from the Sunburst Sayings stamp set. Very clean lines, simple and fast to make!
I loved it so much I decided to use it for a card we made in my New Stampers group:
I used all the same stamp sets and dies with a different color pallet. I replaced the little dots with die cut leaves to frame in the flower and added some of our It’s My Party enamel dots for a little pop of color. The subtle background changed from squares to small dots.
So, same great layout, but very different looking cards! Which one do you like best?
P.S. Don’t forget to sign up for the Tin of Cards class! Sign up ends on Monday so that you can receive this GREAT kit at a reduced price from this weeks special deals.
