I received these sweet little bunnies from Candace and Judy. They are a dynamite mother and daughter team that have endless creativity!
Please excuse the messy background! But, aren’t these bunnies just the cutest? Thank you sooo much ladies!!
We had Sassy Saturday this weekend. Our group was a bit smaller due to Easter. Many of our stampers were either celebrating Easter early or cooking for their families. I did a bit of cooking, but, I purchased my deserts which cuts down on my cooking times! (My family knows that I am not a very good cook, so I have found where to purchase the best foods!)
Back to the subject on hand. Here are some of the cards we stamped on Saturday:
We had a “man” card theme for many of our cards. I know that there is no fish alive that looks like the one above. But, I had to take artistic liberties so the fish would match the colors I choose! The fish is bumped up and brushed with Wink of Stella, which give it a wonderful sheen.
On many of my cards, I used the designer paper from the Going Places 6 x 6 stack. I love that paper!! Also, you would be surprised how many cards you can do with those little stacks! The striped dsp is from that wonderful little stack. The bottom dsp is from the Timeless Elegance pack from the Annual catalog. What a combo, but, I think it works!
On both of the cards above I used the stamp set From Land to Sea. It is from our Annual catalog and comes on wood or clear.
I also have a card using the lighthouse that I will be showing you soon. I used it for a card we will be stamping in the April Techniques class which will be concentrating on the masking technique.
