In the day I used to do quite a bit of quilting. My shelves that are now filled with stamping supplies were once filled to the brim with fabric. While I still LOVE quilting, I find that I just don’t have the time. I can use my quilting know how on making small “quilted” cards much faster! Here is the first card I have designed for my March Techniques class which will feature faux quilted cards:
This is a larger card, 6 x 6, but I figured that most wedding cards are taken to the festivities so you won’t have to spend extra to send it in the mail. The designer paper is from 4 different packs paired up with black and adhered to tip top taupe with black as the card base. We will also be making an envelope for this special card with a lining to match up with the designer paper.
Hope you like the idea of paper quilting. If you do and want to come to the March Techniques class let me know. Class is on Monday, March 14th 9-12 or Tuesday, March 15th 9-12 or 3-8pm. We will make 5 cards for $15.
