Friday, March 4th, 9-12 or 3-8pm join me in making some beautiful and fun Easter cards! I almost never use any retired stamps, but, for this class we had a wonderful Easter verse that I brought back. Here is the card with the “vintage” verse:
So sorry that my pictures are not the best, but, this card is quite lovely in person! You will have to believe me or come to class!! The flowers are painted with my trusty aqua painter with calypso coral and mossy meadow. Then the petals are covered with crystal effects and the centers are covered with dazzling details.
This flower is actually from the same stamp set as the first card. It’s called Helping Me Grow on page 20 of the Ocassions catalog. Large beautiful flowers with all kinds of fun little stamps to go along with them including some sweet verses. Arn’t those corner lines cool?
The next card is the first one I designed for our class. One of my stampers wanted to use the butterfly dies, so here is what I did with that request:
I love the Elegant Dots embossing folder! It’s such a delicate pattern that goes well with the smaller print on the designer paper, (which is from the Pretty Petals designer paper stack on page 144 of the Annual catalog.). The butterfly is back with another of the prints from the same stack layered with the filigree die cut.
Hope you enjoyed the cards! Let me know what you think. (That way I will know I’m not just talking to myself, which I do alot when working!)
