I have a group of talented ladies that met while taking a painting class. One was one of my stampers. One thing lead to another and Miss Marilyn has a new group coming to stamp with me! Hooray!!
It is so much fun to stamp with these ladies. With everything being new and being so eager to learn it’s a blast to share my work space with them.
Today we stamped three Christmas cards and two fall/Thanksgiving cards. I have two to share with you:
You just can’t go wrong with fall colors. Pretty much everything you do looks beautiful. This card uses the stamp set For All Things that is found on page 87 of our annual catalog. We used what I call “random” stamping which means stamp anywhere and you’ve got it stamped correctly!
This card used the stamp set Warm Wishes found in the Holiday catalog. This was also the stamp set I had for my October products class, (so you know I LOVE it!). I thought this had a vintage look. The top part of the card is tip top taupe which pairs up beautifully with cherry cobbler. We stamped the sled on tip top taupe, colored it with markers then cut it out. That just gave it a different look rather than just stamping it on the card stock with the snow flakes.
It’s such a bonus that tip top taupe (can you tell I like saying that color?), has a beautiful lacy ribbon!
