More Halloween cards for you!

Tomorrow I have a group of ladies that are new to stamping.  It is sooo much fun to get together with this group of excited stampers!  They are meeting once a month, on the first Wednesday of the month.  If you are new to stamping or want to see what it’s all about, contact me and get signed up for this fun class!!

They asked to make Halloween cards this month. I was very happy about this because we have so many great Halloween stamps that I really wanted to keep using.  So, here are a few of the cards we will be stamping tomorrow:

October 6 2015 witches hat with spider webThis is the first card I designed for this group.  See the cool background.  I used smoky slate and the back of the spider doily to create my own designer paper.  The doilies make an excellent stencil with the use of my dauber.  I used 1/2 of the doily on the front of the card and another 1/4 of it on the inside.  Come to class and see!!

Card #2:

October 6 2015 owl and pumpkinThis little owl is flying by with his pumpkin bag for a happy hello!  He is inked up with cajun craze and sponged with early espresso on the tummy and wing tips before stamping.

Card 3:

October 6 2015 spooky treesThis card makes me think of spooky music.  The moon was inked up with crushed curry and sponged with tangerine tango prior to stamping and punching out.  Come to class and see how I made the smoky slate background!

Card 4:

October 6 2015 skull with bonesThis is a simple card with a number of different textures.  The black cardstock is embossed with our chevron folder and the “spooky” is cut out of our black glimmer paper.

I have to thank everyone for the birthday wishes. (Even though I have cancelled all birthdays from here on out!)  Miss Tami and Travis sent me some beautiful flowers and took us out to lunch.  I am also looking forward to a “girls getaway” with my daughter-in-law Christine and my granddaughters, Elliana and Halina.  As stated many times I am truly blessed!
