At camp Stamp in Oga this past weekend, Melynn, another Stampin’ Up! demonstrator make a thank you card using this technique. I thought it was so cool that I decided to incorporate it into my color class.
This is my version using our little letters framelits. Stamp the background color first, cut out what ever you want with the letters framelits and adhere onto card stock of another color. The real trick is to use more dimensionals than you normally would to keep the first layer solidly raised up. I added the glimmer stars some of which are popped up with dimensionals also. Just wanted to mention that gorgeous ribbon!
The ribbon is a new selection of the 3/8″ stitched satin. It comes in five colors. It’s $9.00 and you get 10 yards of it. Like everything else, it’s more beautiful in person! Check it out on page 159 of our annual catalog.
