I decided to experiment with our new paper product called Cotton Paper. I love the idea of a soft full flower on a card that is thin enough to mail. Here is my first attempt:I have a listing of items I used with this card. Just noticed that I left out one item, stamp set: Beautiful Bunch. I used a stamp from that set for the flower center.
Here is what I discovered when working with the new cotton paper. It comes in 12 x 12 sheets, so fold a sheet in half and then in half again. You can then use one of our punches, which is what I did. TaDa! You instantly have 4 beautiful flowers! I stamped only the top flower, then off set them and pierced them with my paper piercing tool. If you do this on one of our paper piercing pads, you just pierce and then push in brad without picking up the flowers from the pad. (Hoping that all makes sense.) I like using a brad vs adhesive because I could adjust the flowers.
Once attached to the card using dimensionals I just pulled up each layer of the flower and crunched it to the center. This paper is pretty tough so don’t be afraid to squish it up!
