This is a long, crazy story! I have been feeling exceptionally fluffly lately, perhaps I should say squishy. After working the Expo with Sarah on Friday and Saturday, April 17th and 18th I was really wiped out. I had to make so many breaks trying to bring my bags into the booth just to catch my breath and let my heart slow down.
However, I did have a class scheduled on Monday, so the show must go on! I decided that I would finally see a doctor in between my classes. I had a 1:30 appt. which would get me home before my 3:00 class, right? Not correct! You want to see God smile, just make plans and know that it’s all really in his hands!
I got to the office and they took me back. Of course we had to stop at the dreaded scale. Normally I say no, but, I knew that I had a significant weight gain in the past week or so. I acquiesced and stood on the scale, (I did of course take my jacket off! No need to add insult to injury).
After taking my history of complaints I was taken back for an EKG. That’s when the s__t hit the fan! People were efficient, but, decidedly ready to ship me out of there. Before I knew it the ambulance was called and I was walking out of the ofice and climbing into the ambulance. (By the way, that first step is rather large when climbing in!)
I took the time in the ambulance to call June, as she and Karen M. were scheduled for class that afternoon. I didn’t want them showing up to am empty house. They did get to take the class with out my assistance. (Is that good or bad? Not sure!!)
I’ll chat with you more tomorrow about what came next.
How about a card?
This was my favorite card from my techniques class. I combined melon mambo and crisp cantaloupe. The flower is stamped on our naturals white and embossed with white embossing powder. I used both colors with my aqua painter to color in each petal.
Stay tuned for part two of my hospital adventure tomorrow!
