Well, there have been a few things happening lately that are not under my control. It seems that life throws you curves and you just have to learn to make adjustments and look at the bright side. Crying and carrying on doesn’t change things or make me feel better.
So, here’s one that I have to deal with in my Stampin’ Up! business: SU has decided to pull Blendabilities from their product offerings. I do understand why and I would like to explain that to you. They have been having more and more problems with quality control. Here is the word directly from SU:
The manufacturer is unable to correct the problem in a manner that we are certain would meet our high quality standards and provide us with a stable, long-term solution. Therefore, after a great deal of deliberation and in order to prevent further disappointment, the Blendabilities product line has been discontinued.
I have made an investment in this product and have it on hand. So, I will continue to use them in class while I have them. Which is totally opposite of my normal position of not ever using retired products. But, I figured that we might as well enjoy them while we can and I know that many of my customers also have them.
On the bright side SU knows how much we loved them and will continue to look for another manufacturer to work with and perhaps we will have a similar product in the future without all the problems.
