March Techniques class – Reflection cards

Being a little late on the planning stages of my classes, I asked my stampers what they wanted to do for this months Techniques class.  The answer:  reflection cards.  A number of years ago I did a reflection class and it was my most attended class.  It was crazy, I had tables everywhere!!  Now with my new tables and extended class hours, I am happy to say I can accommodate everyone!

I still have openings for Monday, March 9th in the afternoon, 3-8.  Also Tuesday, March 10th, there are spots open in the morning 9-12 session or the afternoon, 3-8 session.

Here’s a peek at what you could be stamping if you sign up ASAP!:

???????????????????????????????This is my Sheltering Tree reflection card.  This is stamped on canvas, then touched up with an aqua painter.  Canvas gives the picture a whole different look.  If you haven’t tried it yet you should.  You can check it out on page 192 of the annual catalog.  Canvas Creations, item #129375, $3.93 for (1) 12 x 12 sheet.

???????????????????????????????I LOVE this Moon Lake stamp set!!  I highlighted this stamp set in one of my product classes a while back.  This one was really fun using a piece of our Window Sheet to stamp on and create a mirror image for this anniversary card.  This one just had to be an anniversary card!! I used the aqua painter for the water and cat tails and I used a sponging technique with paper towel to create the sky.

???????????????????????????????Of course you can’t do a reflection class without using Lovely as a Tree.  I think this is the oldest stamp set in the catalog, and for a good reason.  It’s a classic!!  Not sure if you can tell from the picture, but, this is my one winter scene.  The pine tree is reflecting on glittery snow.  I used my markers to color directly onto the stamp.  This is a simple card with a beautiful message from the Blessed by God stamp set, on page 123 of the annual catalog.  I use that stamp set a lot and am happy to say that I just sold two more sets last week!  It’s a wonderful one to have in your stamping arsenal.

That’s all for now, check in tomorrow for the other two cards!

Happy Stamping!
