Cards designed with some new stamp sets and some old stamp sets. (Old but not retired. Old meaning from the Annual Catalog.)
Here’s a card using one of our newest stamp sets paired up with some beautiful designer paper:
The blue paisley dsp is from the Birthday Bash series from the Spring catalog. I thought it looked nice with the Panted Petals stamps. I used night of navy and garden green to add interest to the card. I cut off a little section of one of our doily’s to add another layer under the floral section.
This card uses the designer paper that I received FREE from one of my Sale A Bration purchases. (Which means, you too can get FREE designer paper and so much more…..call me!!) The soft roses are from our Artisan Embellishment Kit. I love this collage look.
Here is another card using some beautiful ribbon from that Artisan Embellishment kit:
See that rose red crocheted ribbon? It’s so gorgeous!! I added one of stress reliever flowers on the left side and an old fashioned telephone on the right side. Many years ago we gave my Mom one of those telephones, her very own personal Queen of the home phone!
Back to the card. I call the flower a stress reliever because after sponging the edges of the printed paper you crush it up like you are going to throw it away. You use only one red rose circle and make it into two by using your bone folder. You run the bone folder over the cardstock until it separates. You pull it apart and use the soft suede side up for your flower. Hold all four layers together with a brad and crush each layer again pushing it towards the center of the flower.
Well, what do you think?
