The stampers that joined me for this month’s techniques class received their own template for doing the bokeh technique. We had a lot of fun experimenting with different cardstock and supplies.
On the first card we used our whisper white paper and applied the background colors with daubers. After they had covered all or most of the cardstock they laid their template over the inked area and using a dauber colored in the open circles with white craft ink.The result is this soft image. We used our framelit and the Big Shot to cut out the hello in dazzling diamonds glimmer paper and adhered it to the card front with our “green glue”. A few pearls added some extra bling to finish off the card.
On the second Bokeh card we used watercolor paper and our aqua pens. We applied a stronger, bolder color using reinkers. We squeezed a few drops of reinker onto the cover of an ink pad and picked it up and colored it onto the paper with the aqua painter. (Hoping that makes sense to you all!)
