Tonight is the big Catalog Kickoff. That means that as a demonstrator, we get to go to a special event in Kenosha where Stampin’ Up! will reveal our Spring catalog and our Sale a Bration catalog!
I can’t wait!! I have a number of my Stampin’ Up! family members riding down with me and a number of demonstrators from our group that we will meet up with there. The last one was fabulous and I expect this one will be also!!
In the mean time, I have been working on cards for next weeks Techniques class. For this month I have decided to do cards with cut outs. Here’s a little sneak peak at 2 of them:
I wanted to use my window sheets again and I had the large round glimmer paper on my desk from another project. Throw in a few trees and a new card is born! Here’s the inside view:I paired up mossy meadow ink with the Festival of Trees stamp set. By stamping twice before I reinked my stamp I got this nice variation in color which gives the card some depth.
As for card number 2, I have had this card in my head for sometime and decided last night to see if I could make it come alive.
It looks rather dark in the photo, but, you get the idea. It’s a night time city scape with a beautiful gold glimmer star suspended over the city. The beautiful star background paper is from the Santa & Co. designer paper collection. The base of the card is basic gray with the front portion embossed with our Lucky Stars Textured Impressions folder.
Here’s the product list then I’m closing out and saying “happy Stamping!”
