Emboss resist technique
I so love all the fall colors that we have to work with. One of my favorite combinations is cajun craze and crushed curry. I combined these two colors when making the following emboss resist card:
First step is to emboss the “thanks” image on whisper white cardstock with clear embossing powder. Next step is to us a dauber to apply the colors of your choice. Here I used the cajun craze in the center over the verse and crushed curry on the top and bottom. Then I stamped the oak leaf with cajun craze randomly around the verse. You will want to have a piece of paper towel to wipe over the embossed image after applying all the colors. Any area that is embossed will resist the inks, hence the name: emboss resist!
This is a great technique which is relatively fast. I am planning on using it with my Ornamental Pine stamp set also.
Let me know what you think!
