Kinda Eclectic on page 164 of the annual catalog!
Did you guess already that I used designer paper from the Sweet Taffy collection? The dsp at the top of the card is from that collection. That particular paper goes from very light yellow to dark yellow with a little triangle pattern on it. So, each card that my club members make using this designer paper will look differently!
The base of the card is rich razzleberry and this time I used so saffron as my accent color. The bottom designer paper is from the specialty paper on page 184 called Typeset. This is a GREAT deal, you get 24 sheets, 4 each of 6 double-sided designs. This is a 12 x 12 paper for $12.95! It’s very lightweight and looks and feels like it’s out of a vintage book. On this card I used a piece that was 4 x 2 and I tore along the bottom edge. Using pieces with small that paper is going to last a very long time!
I stamped the leaves in Mossy Meadow and the starburst in rich razzleberry ink. The leaves were double stamped, meaning that I stamped it twice without re-inking it. That way I got a dark and a light image giving it some depth.
I used some of our gold foil paper to highlight our little rich razzleberry butterflies. The center of the butterfly got a little gold bling from our Gold Dazzling Details. I adhered the sequence and the Venetian Crochet Trim on with glue dots.
In the inside of the card, I did a second stamping of the starburst with rich razzleberry, again, without re-inking the stamp so that it would be lighter. The leaves are stamped with the Mossy Meadow ink to match the front of the card.
Hope you liked what you have seen the past few days. If there is anything that you would like to purchase to make these cards at home, just hit that little red button on the right had side and shop away! One of the challenges at convention was to get 10 new purchasing customers into our customer manager by September 30th. If you want to help me with that challenge I would appreciate that! Everyone purchasing from me receives one of my hand stamped cards as a thank you! (I have been told by my customers that’s the first thing they check out in their order bags!)
