These ladies are very talented, so, I wanted to share their swap cards with you. If your question is what are swap cards, let me explain. Some of my Friday night Hostess Club members like to swap cards with each other. So, if there are 5 people “swapping” they design and make 5 cards to exchange with the other stampers who are “swapping”. It’s a great way to take home a nice variety of cards. Here are the “swaps”: Didn’t they all do a nice job? I had to leave Lynn R.’s card open in the center picture. She made a pop up card. LOVE the backdrop of Lovely as a Tree. My swap was the last one with the martini glass. I really liked the triangle of the glass with the triangles on the designer paper. First one to tell me what designer paper I used gets this card in the mail!
In one of my recent classes we made a gate fold card that had designer paper on the front panels. Well, this is what happens if you just turn over our designer paper, you get a totally different card using all the same elements. June made her’s in the yellow version. I liked it so much I made one to show you. That’s one of the GREAT things about our designer paper, two sides and they are both fantastic. Biggest problem is deciding which side to use.We used the Blendabilities to color in the flowers. One is calypso coral and the other in daffodil delight. On the center of the calypso coral flower I used crystal effects to make the center stand out and give the flower a “pop”. On my daffodil delight flower I used our gold dazzling details over the center of the flower which gave it a gorgeous sparkle!
Well, happy stamping!
