Here’s a couple more samples from The Open Sea stamp set:

My two favorite for the last photo share!

Now that I wrote that, I’m not quite sure which ones are my favorite!  I’m just fickle I guess!

This is one where I put the real red away, but, couldn’t get away from the night of navy.  I saw a couple of cards using the hardwood stamp and The Open Sea and thought I’d try my hand at it.  I have to say, I do love using our framelits.  In this case the circle framelits came in quite handy!  You can double cut with them, meaning that I had the smaller circle inside the larger one to create this perfect donut!  I did use dimensionals so that there would be more depth when looking through to the ship.

I love the little candy dots on the birthday sign.  I did do a bit of fussy cutting and sponging on this one, but, I had no choice!

This next card was the last one I made for my display board.  It was super fast and it certainly is the my top favorites of all that I made the past couple of days.

???????????????????????????????Yes, I know, I reverted back to the real red and night of navy!  But look at how sharp it looks!  This one is a fun fold.  It’s a gate card with the stamped images on the front opening on separate sides.  So, the ship is attached with dimensionals on the left side of the layer and the verse is attached on the right side.  So, when they open you get this:

???????????????????????????????Wouldn’t this be the perfect card to someone leaving on a cruise, or perhaps someone into the Navy?  Two very different reasons to send this card.

Well, hoped you enjoyed our little adventure with The Open Sea!

Happy Stamping!
