This is a stamp set from our Holiday catalog that is available to all, stampers and demonstrators right now!
If you don’t have a Holiday catalog yet let me know and I will get one out to you. I received my give away Holiday catalogs here yesterday. I do expect the ones that I have going out to my customers directly from Stampin’ Up! should be going out soon if they haven’t already.
This catalog is just filled with fun! I have most of the offerings on my craft tables right now. Last night after my stampers left I played with the Beauty of the Season stamp set. I still loved the card this morning so I wanted to share it with you:
Here is the front of the card. I used watercolor paper and embossed the cardinal with gold embossing powder. Then I used my aqua painter to color in the sky around the image. After that I used cherry cobbler with the aqua painter for the body of the cardinal. I used early espresso for the branch. I decided to tear around the image giving it a nice white framing. I did use dazzling details in cherry cobbler for the berries and dazzling details along the branches to give it a snow like sparkle.
For the inside, I did a second stamping of the hardwood stamp that was stamped on the background. The stamp set includes two beautiful verses and a single branch which I stamped twice in the inside of the card. The branches and berries were decorated just like the ones on the front of the card.
I have been asked to start including Christmas cards, so, this will be one of the cards that we will be making at my Kismet class this month!
Kismet class is next week Monday and Tuesday, August 18th and 19th. There are two sessions both days, 9-12 or 3-8. We will be making 5 cards total for $15.
