Last day of Convention…….sad to be leaving, but, excited to share what I learned.

Last day is always bittersweet.  We wait and wait for Convention and then in 3 short days it’s all over and everyone goes home.

Last night was the awards night and it was exciting to walk across the stage with Sarah for earning the Grand Vacation to Hawaii.  We also got to walk across for leadership and recruiting together.  Which was new for me, we even received a wrist corsage.  That was really fun.  I thought we were in the wrong lineup, there were some of the “biggies” down there walking across with us!  But, Sarah assured me that we were in the correct line!

They had a Hoedown party afterwards which was really fun.  They had a band and snacks.  They even had a mechanical bull to ride.  Earlier in the day Sarah had swapped cards with a blind Stampin’ Up! demo.  Yes, a blind demo!  She was really great and made a cute little tag.  Later at the party we saw her riding the bull:

???????????????????????????????What an inspiration!  She was all about having a good time and she did!  I have to tell you that Sarah also rode the bull with a skirt on mind you!  When it came time to dismount she was very graceful!  I did not get a picture, but, I did get a video.  I will need to get permission from her to post it.  (Of course she is already sleeping).

???????????????????????????????Here is the sign they had pointing into the party room!  Starting from the left: Randee, D’anne, MeLynn, Sarah, Me, Leann and Nicole.  Everyone’s smiling even though we were all super tired!

I took lots of picture of food (that’s for Joan), but, will be putting it together in my Project Life album of this year’s convention.  I did take this photo of a picture that was on the boards and thought I would share it with you tonight:

???????????????????????????????Isn’t that sweet?  I love the birds and the use of the burlap ribbon to make flowers.  This would be something that you could change up the photos as you wished since they are held on with our colorful little clothes pins.  I LOVED the saying.  A greata rule to live by!

Last shot is of my name badge.  I am proud of the pins that I earned with your help this year and hope to keep sharing what I love with you all!???????????????????????????????Next Grand Vacation goal is a Mediterranean Cruise to Spain, Italy and France!  And it all starts again!  My plan is to work very hard to keep things exciting for you and to have you keep coming to my clubs and classes and perhaps even throw in some home parties, (my home or yours) to earn this next one!

Thanks again and happy stamping!
