Need a “baby” card or need a Monday morning pick up?
I was requested to design some baby cards for this month’s Kismet class. So, last night after I got home from Salt Lake City and spent some time with Peter, I headed down to get ready for today’s class.
I am using the Something for Baby stamp set as seen on page 74 of the annual catalog. To tell you the truth, this is the first time I used this set and I choose to do so because it has matching framelits, which simply make me happy and saves me time. (No fussy cutting!)
Here’s the “baby” card:Pretty simple. I used two embossing folders to give it some texture and used dimentionals under the ducks and the verse. I am totally in love with our new 1/4″ cotton ribbon. It ties the softest bows! I did add some tiny pearls on the eyes also.
Now, here is the same card for the way I feel on Mondays after being gone:
I used all the same elements. I did add the Hello Monday with our new rotary stamp. If you have not seen this yet, take a look at page 191 in the catalog! This one is great fun because you can spell out what ever you want! It includes the alphabet and basic punctuation. Let your imagination fly!! For only $14.95 you can add this to your stash and have a ball creating your own funny pharases!
Almost time for class, so, Happy Stamping!
