Popcorn anyone?

In our home popcorn is a food group.  You add butter and Parmesan cheese and your including dairy with fiber.  What’s not good about that?

I was requested to make a card that looked like a box of popcorn.  So, I had to figure out how to incorporate my theme of retiring products for next Wednesday’s class.

Here are the results:??????????????????????????????? The striped paper is from the Fresh Prints Designer Series Pack.  The “enjoy” I have used soooo much, I just LOVE the font.  It’s from the stamp set Simply Celebrate.  Both are in the Occasions catalog and both will be retiring.  Also, the daffodil 1/4″ stitched ribbon is being retired and is currently on sale for $2.48!  That’s 50% off the ribbon.  What a great deal!

Here is the inside of the card:

May 22 2014 popcorn card 002Yes, the top pulls out and is large enough for you to attach a gift card for perhaps a movie!

I know that similar cards have been around for a while.  I think mine is different because I had to layer up my popcorn with dimensionals.  Just like the real thing, I want a heaping bowl of  popcorn when it’s time to settle in for a good movie!

Happy Stamping!
