I received our new catalog last night and I know that it’s going to help me get to Hawaii! It’s truly FABULOUS!
You are not only going to fall in love with the stamps, new in colors and new products, but, you are going to fall in love with the new format!
Hooray, we once again have an accessory index. We have an index of verses!! The new in colors are just yummy!! I love sets with great verses and there are plenty of them to fawn over!
I can’t wait to share it all with you! But, for now I will show you a card from this month’s Technique class:
The base of this card is coastal cabana paired up with strawberry slush. We embossed a layer of watercolor paper with an embossing folder. I love this picture because you can see the texture on the watercolor paper! (LOVE my new camera!)
After embossing the paper, we used our brayer and rolled versamark onto the embossed edges. I mixed up white embossing powder with iridescent ice embossing powder and sprinkled it over the versamark. Hit it with the heat tool and you have a nice sparkly white embossed highlights.
We then used our aqua painter to apply color to each segment. When applying the color to the background, use the water in your aqua painter to dilute the ink which gives it a softer look and doesn’t leave hard color lines.
One last picture of Sarah in our booth at the Expo:
I thought our booth looked really cute. We had such a nice time with everyone. Sarah and our friend Randee surprised me with a visit from Randee, (who by the way lives in Texas), so it was a shock to see her smiling face in the booth! It was so wonderful to see her!! Randee is one of our room mates at convention every year. So, we have spent lots of quality time together in Salt Lake City!
Well, have to run and get ready for tomorrows class!
