Two new male graduation cards for you to view!
Requested by Karen M. I went to work designing some male graduation cards this afternoon. I decided to make one using the Oh, Happy Day stamp set and one featuring the Blue Ribbon stamp set.
With my trusty new camera in hand I have some nicer pics! Here we go:
The base of this card is soft suede. The designer paper is from the Soho Subway collection. Soho Subway designer paper is one that is retiring, so, get it now if you NEED it!!! Who am I kidding, we just talked about this at tonight’s class! Need is a strong word, really really want is probably more like it!
I stamped the ribbon in soft suede and the words in island indigo. It’s very simple but, I liked the basic layout and I love the colors with the designer paper.
Card number two:
The base of this card is pacific point. The designer paper is from the Occasions catalog on page 24, High Tide. I love the bold stripe with the small print on the summer starfruit designer paper. I stamped the oh, happy day in pacific point and sponged the edges with summer starfruit after I cut it out with the starburst framelits. I also put in a layer of pacific point behind the starburst cutout. The cute little celebrate circle is stamped in summer starfruit and in pacific point. I cut out the celebrate banner and adhered it to the top of the summer starfruit circle.
The ribbon is in island indigo, but, blends well with pacific point.
So, that’s it for today. Let me know what you think of the cards and the new pictures with my fancy new red camera!
