When deciding what cards to make for a retirement community I thought, perhaps a get well card. I struggle with these cards and do prefer to use thinking of you for a number of friends that have health issues that are progressive. However, if someone has a cold etc. this card would be great. The get well soon is from the Tag It stamp set. The stamp set is on page 45 of our annual catalog. Stampin’ UP! donates $3 of each purchase to Ronald McDonald House Charities. Each year they have a new stamp designed for this wonderful charity. Just one more reason to love Stampin’ UP!
Back to the card, the card base is sahara sand, the first layer of designer paper is from the neutrals designer paper stack in sahara sand. The large heart is from the Kaleidoscope designer paper in the Occasions catalog. The smaller heart is bermuda bay card stock. Both hearts were cut out using our heart framelits and that fabulous magnetic plate on my Big Shot. I can hardly do a card without using the cute little banner punch which you can get FREE from our Sale a Bration offerings.
The verse I used inside the card is from the Gift of Kindness stamp set in our annual catalog and it goes like this: Hoping that each passing day brings you closer to a brighter tomorrow. Isn’t that a beautiful verse? Again, depending on what the card is being sent for it would be perfect for many different issues.
I will go ahead and show you the third card I will have the residents making. It’s from the Happenings Simply Created Card Kit:
Stampin’ UP! designed this one. I choose to use the kit because everything is ready to stamp away. All you have to do is put it all together with the adhesive of your choice. So easy and so darn cute!
