You probably already have this figured out, but, it takes me a little longer than the average stamper sometimes!
One of my stampers, Jan, brought the most adorable card to our last Friday night Hostess Club. We do a challenge card, last month it was using some type of stitching or faux stitching on your card. All the entries were fabulous and when our members voted they all tied! So, they will all receive a gift at the meeting tonight.
Back to to card, here it is:
Cute, right? Well, I had another stamper ask me to make her some of these cards with some color changes. I thought, no problem until I started duplicating the card. Well, I did get it figured out with some modifications.
Notice the cute lapels on the jacket and shirt? I figured out a way to score them on my Simply Scored Scoring Tool with the help of a red sharpie marker:
I had to mark the top of the jacket where the fold should start and then where it would end. With so many little lines, I found it hard to line up. So , I drew a red line on the board with a sharpie marker. That way I could place my card stock on the red line and line up the marks for my jacket lapel. Not sure if that makes sense to you, I’m hoping it does!
