It’s from the Occasions catalog. You can see it on page 19.
I love to use every scrap of paper that I have. So, when I made a card that cut out “thx” and I used the negative portion. I had to come up with a card using the cutout word. So, here is what I came up with:
Back to the card, you pick out a point on the card stock and then draw lines radiating out from that point. This was my first time doing this and I failed terribly. I did not place my sections close enough so there were gaps between the designer paper. This is how I corrected it: I used those thin pieces of card stock that most people throw away and placed them between each section. I also layered the section on that same color of card stock.
What do you think? Does it look like I meant to design it this way? I have found through so many errors of my own, how to “fix” just about any stamping blunder I can make. My Dad used to always say: “Nobody knows what you don’t know”. I use that thought this way: Nobody knows I didn’t plan the card this way. However, I usually spill my guts to my stampers anyway!
This was one of the cards for my Camp Stamp in Oga board. Thanks to all the stampers who joined us at camp! Lots of fun, very little sleep! I LOVED it!
