One of my Hostess club members needs a card for twin boys and I LOVE the challenges of coming up with a card. I had this one in my mind right away. The owl image on the stamp set has the Mom and Dad owl with a little one in between. When I stamped the image I masked the Mom portion and stamped. Then I masked the Dad portion and stamped right next to the first stamped image. TaDa!! That gives me two cute little owls in the center! The verse Woohoo! It’s two! is from the Cuddles & Kisses stamp set in our large catalog on page 56.
This stamp set, Baby We’ve Grown, is on page 28 of the Occasions catalog. Sarah made a swap card for leadership using this set, other wise I had not paid much attention to it. But, you know how that goes, once you see all the possibilities you then NEED that stamp set. I now have it in my stash! I used my trusty aqua painter and colored them in. (Can’t wait for the Blendability markers!) The checked designer series paper is from the Gingham Garden selection of papers. The little banners are from the Banner Blast stamp set that you could get FREE from our Sale a Bration offerings after January 28th, along with the matching punch. Ask me how that works……I’d love to help you get those items into your personal stash for FREE!
One card was not enough so, I played a little more:The base of this card is soft sky and I used midnight muse as an accent color. I just doubled up on the booties and stars and used the verse Babies fill your heart with happy on the inside. The inside verse is from the Cuddles & Kisses stamp set as well as the congratulations on the front of this card. Check out that particular set, it has some great verses including one for adoption which is close to my heart.
Well, let me know what you think about the “twin” cards!
