Lots of BIG announcements at the last assembly today……
Any of my downline who signed up to be a demonstrator after July 1, 2013 and any of my new downline (this means YOU!), can go to next years convention for FREE! Yes, Stampin’ UP! is picking up the tab for your convention registration fee. Which means you are still responsible for your airfare, hotel and food costs. But, WOW that’s a great offer!! Hoping that you will take advantage of this wonderful opportunity! We all had such a blast last year…..let’s do it again!
Today was the last day of our Leadership conference so we had to get a picture of the three of us:
We received a new sneak peek stamp set that will be in the next catalog. So, when I get home I will be designing some cards around that set.
They served us a delicious sit down lunch, teasing us a bit by putting the dessert at the table right away:See that at the top, grilled pound cake with whipped cream and fruit compote, (I think the grilling takes out all the calories) and a nice big salad. Followed up by a tender little chicken served with potatoes and veggies. Guess they had to include red beans in the veggie mix, we are after all in Texas! All in all is was a fabulous conference! I have picked up many new ideas that I want to incorporate into my business. They also sent us all out with a challenge. I need to add 25 new customers to my customer base by March 31st, sign up at least 2 additional demonstrators and increase my sales for this quarter by 10% over last year.
HELP!!!! I’m really going to need my family of stampers to help me reach these goals! I am at 19,000 for my trip tracker for the grand vacation in 2015 and will need 40,000 points to earn that trip to Hawaii. I am motivated to attain these goals. One of the speakers today said that a goal not written down is just a dream. Well, it’s written down and I’m guessing that blogging it is the same as writing it on paper, right?
Ready for the interesting food we ate? Didn’t think I would ever eat baby octopus unless is was deep fried. Isn’t everything good deep fried? But, Sarah pushed my buttons and I had some of this:It’s a pickled octopus salad. Yes, tentacles and all right down the hatch. Actually is was pretty tasty. Similar to the consistency of shrimp and not fishy at all. Here’s a picture of Sarah taking the first bite. I did let her try it first and then I dived in right afterwards!Well, guess I’ve done the food network again. Sorry! Vickie, I’m just guessing, but, the octopus salad would be waaaaayyyyy out of your comfort zone!
I will try and get some card pictures to you tonight when we are doing our brain storming and planning session.
