I don’t do too many vintage cards. However, I really like them, I just don’t feel as comfortable designing them. I always feel like I am putting too much on the card and don’t always know when to “back away” and stop!
Here is my card and let’s see what you think:
I used a couple of stamps from Chalk Talk for the “for you” portion. The bottom image was stamped with Shop Around as seen on page 98. That is sold as a wheel, but, I have been cutting the rubber stamp off the wheels and putting them on our clear-mount cling foam. This is sold on page 197 of our large catalog. So many of my stampers had anxiety issues when ever I would bring out a wheel. So, I made them into stamps and now get a lot more use out of the wheels as stamps an no more anxious stampers!
The flower is punched out with our pansy punch from Sweater Weather designer series paper. I cut off 1/2 of a doily and spritzed it with chocolate chip then gathered it to go around the flower. Is this a card you would like to make? Let me know!
