It’s hot and muggy outside…….I’m working with Snow Day inside!

Hello Stampers!  I never know what’s going on out side of my stamping bunker!  Peter went to his class and came home asking about the pouring rain.  I never heard a thing!

I was putting together banner kits for those of you who are coming to my banner classes.  I designed a traditional Christmas banner similar to the one Stampin’ UP! has except theirs is in blues.  I also designed an Autumn and Valentines banner.  Such fun!  Now I have them all lined up for you all to come and play with them!  Looking forward to visiting all the seasons with you!

Tomorrow I have a private Christmas card class for Miss Judy M. and four of her friends.  So, I thought I would share some of the cards I designed for them.

First one used the stamp set Snow Day in our Holiday catalog:

I stamped our cute little snowman with white craft ink on crumb cake card stock and then embossed with white embossing powder.  I then stamped the eyes, mouth, buttons and arms in black StazOn.  The hat, nose, scarf and stocking are all stamped and then  cut out and glued on with 2-way glue .  I love the stocking hat so I used it again in the inside.

The next card is using our Festive Flurry stamp set.  I love that we have matching framelits for this set!  Here it is:

Here is the front and inside.  I can’t help myself, I often stamp images from the front of the card into the corners inside the card.  It just seems to balance it out.

Well, what do you think?  I’m hoping Judy and her friends love them as much as I do!

One last thing to chat with you about.  It’s getting to be that time again….did you say what time?  Well, time to get signed up to go to the ultimate stamping and scrapbooking retreat of course! Camp Stamp in Oga!   We are so excited that we have changed the location of our retreat!  You can read all about it and get signed up by going to www.campstampinoga.com.  Mark your calendars for Friday, November 1st through Sunday, November 3rd.  There is no where else you will want to be!!

This is a wonderful way to get away with friends and family and get your creative juices going!  There is a reason that we call it the “ultimate” retreat.  Now, at our new location at the Hilton Doubletree in Brookfield it will get even better, if that is possible!  For our campers that will be staying all day on Saturday and our 2 and 3 day campers we will be featuring a VIP room!

As usual we will have our complete stamping workroom there for you to use.  Everything from ink to stamps to an embossing station.  Everything you see here at my workshop and at Sarah’s.  That’s just the beginning…..we will have fabulous food so that you never have to leave, door prizes, raffles and optional breakout classes for you to attend.  Our rubber rummage will be right outside the stamping rooms so that it will be easier for you to shop in between making the cards on Saturday morning.

Don’t be fooled by other offers….this is where you want to be!  This is a full service retreat where we are at your disposal.  (That’s why I usually never get much stamped myself!)  I love going around the room and working with you all.   We are blessed to have some extremely  talented campers!

Well, happy stamping!
