How about getting your own group together for a Hostess club? It’s the perfect way for you and your friends to get out for a couple of creative hours together!
You pick a night and each month you all meet here at my workshop. I supply 3 projects, water, soda and coffee. Some clubs like to bring a snack, some don’t, it’s up to you! You get to order the newest Stampin’ UP! products and take turns getting the Hostess benefits! All you need together is $150 in orders to get the party started! With that amount whoever is the Hostess will receive $25 in Hostess Rewards that she can use on anything in our current catalogs.
I have 2 clubs going at this time, one has 8 stampers and one with 11 stampers. They average between $300-$400 in sales each month. Which means that the Hostess averages between $50 and $65 in FREE product! (Remember, after your party reaches $400 you get to pick anything in the catalog for 1/2 price!!) Check out the Hostess Benefits table on page 201 of our annual catalog. This is a GREAT way to get the stamping supplies you have your heart set on! Give me a call or email to get your monthly Hostess Club started!
As promised here are the cards I designed for my August Hostess Clubs. The first one is the perfect little black party dress! Just the thing for a best friends birthday card.
The next card uses one of our new embossing folders. The one I choose is the Beautifully Baroque folder found on page 191 of our annual catalog. This folder gives such a deep impression. I ran 3 different ink pads over the top of the embossed card stock to show off the beautiful impressions.
The last card uses the set Gifts of Kindness as seen on page 83 of the annual catalog. The base of the card is blushing bride card stock. I for one was so happy Stampin’ UP! brought back this vintagey (is that a real word?) color!I stamped the flower with black StazOn. Then I used the brayer to apply the wild wasabi on the bottom portion and on the soft sky portion at the top. I sponged the center with blushing bride. I like the fact that the brayered portions show lines in the background. I think it gives the focal point more depth. What do you think?
