Here we go…..card #2……faux linen with Raining Flowers!

Here is a perfect pairing of technique and stamp set…

This is another fun technique that uses our glossy paper.  I wanted to concentrate on some of my favorite stamp set that are retiring soon and Raining Flowers is one of them. The flowers have a linen pattern on them which works with the linen technique. This is a two step set, so those coming to class will get to use the Stamp a ma jig on this one.

The colors I decided to use are perfect plum for the card base, elegant eggplant as an accent color and wild wasabi for a punch of color.  Let’s see what you think:OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAIn person the wild wasabi is much much brighter. Guess you’ll have to come to class to judge that!  So, if you have been to one of my classes you know that I always finish off  the inside of my cards.  They just are not complete without a beautiful inside.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAHere it is, a flower stamped layered with one cut out with a little bling in the center of the flower.

Well, I don’t think that I’ll put more on line tonight.  Have to save some for tomorrow.  But I felt guilty about not being available to blog lately.  So, I’m trying to make up for the missing days!

Happy Stamping!
