We were blessed to spend time with our Grandchildren!
So, by stating that you know that it was a busy weekend! Between the 7 children and the puppy, (who was very naughty), Peter, Tootsie and I were running to and fro! (Tootsie is our lab mix dog who is 10 years old and showing her age, much like her owners!)
I would like to share one of the moments that really touched us this week end. We were talking about why we have a Memorial Day and started talking about Pearl Harbor with Carter. We were so proud to hear that Carter, who will be 12 soon, knew all about Pearl Harbor. He told us about how it started and talked about the loss of life and details of the battle.
My grandchildren are “homeschoolers” and we are so happy that Carl and Christine have made that decision. Christine is such a wonderful teacher. Giving those children a solid Christian perspective of the world we live in today. They have the time to delve into our history as a nation and the importance of lessons learned from the past to improve our future. That thought really gives me hope for our country.
I’ll get off my soap box and return to my stamping business. But, I really wanted share that with my friends and family.
Alright, tomorrow I am having a “man” card class. Five cards designed to give to the men in our lives. So, I thought of the men in my life and thought: “Wow” I have a lot of ground to cover in five cards! Fast cars, golf, boating, and a little drink after all those activities to relax! Here are a couple of the cards I came up with:
There’s the look inside tomorrows class. If you would like to join us in making the above cards and two more, give me a shout out. You really are not going to want to miss this month’s special class designed for the men in our lives!
