Wow! Where does the time go?

Expo all wrapped up and looking forward to Camp Stamp in Oga!

It has been a very hectic week here in stamp town!  Last Friday and Saturday I helped my fabulous upline Sarah S. with the Scrapbooking Expo.  We had sooo much fun and talked with so many wonderful stampers from all over.  (You know that I LOVE to talk!)  It was great to visit with Miss Donna, who watches over the make and takes at the Expo’s for Sarah.  We had a packed 10 x 10 booth filled to the brim with scrapbook pages and cards!  We called it our cozy cottage.

Thanks to all of my stampers that stopped by to say hello.  I just love looking up and seeing a familar face.  With saying that, it was exciting to meet new stamping friends that may be coming to the August Camp in Oga!  Better sign up soon.  We book up fast!

Tomorrow I am having a class that highlights our “Best of” stamp sets.  Every month this year, (because of Stampin’ UP!’s 25th anniversary) we are getting a new stamp set that includes a new stamp and some of our favorites from the past. (Don’t think that you already have these stamps, they are sized differently from the original ones).   I love these sets and one of the things I love is that if you purchase 6 of them (they are $14.95) you get to pick a $14.95 stamp set of your choice when you send in a slip with 6 “25” stickers on it!

When you get your stamp set along with the stickers that go on the stamps, there is a little “25” circle that you attach to the sheet of paper inside each of the special sets.  Once you have 6 stickers you send it back to Stampin’ UP! with the  item number of the $14.95 stamp set you want for FREE!

Here is a card using the Best of Flowers set:OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAOLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Here is the front.  This card is my remake of one that I received from Sarah.  I stamped the flower on watercolor paper and colored it in with my favorite tool, the aqua painter.

Of course you know that I can’t do a card without doing the inside.  Here is the inside, which repeats the flower.

I still have room in the class if you would like to join us.  Just call or email me so that I can make sure I cut enough card stock for you all!!

Happy Stamping!
