These are my three oldest Grandchildren. After the special pirate exhibit the museum had a room with costumes for the children to dress up. They even had a really nice back drop of the ocean to take pictures in front of. As you can see the boys were having fun with the swords and Elliana was giving me the “pirate look”! This is a great thing to do with your children or grandchildren! We all enjoyed going through the museum at night with only a flashlight! (Some of those exhibits are really quite scary!)
So, I missed our shoebox swap with my fellow demonstrators this past Saturday. However, I did send in my swap cards and received some beautiful cards back. Today, I thought I would share a card that one of my downline sent in.
Miss Rose made this beautiful card using one of our embossing folders and our butterfly punch:Very clean card! Very simple and yet with those well placed colorful butterflies just catch your eye! I also love that she added bling to the butterflies! Here is a close up of the butterflies:She stamped them on white card stock and sponged the edges. But, she also punched them out in the matching color card stock and layered them on the card!
GREAT job Miss Rose! I just love this card!
