My absence is called: Influenza B
I went from full speed and craziness to hitting a brick wall. I have not ever felt quite this way. Those of you who know me know that I have some asthma problems. So, when ever I sound a little croupy, I just push it off to having “an asthma moment”. But, when you add just plain ol’asthma with Influenza B – things get serious! I must say that I know and admit that I am not a good patient in any way shape or means!
I don’t like to take meds, I don’t like to sleep much and I refuse to get rid of my animals. All of these add up to an uncompliant patient!
I was feeling fine on Easter. We spent the day with our family including Carl and Christine’s new puppy, Scout. Lots of fun since we also celebrated Micah and Halina’s birthdays. Christine’s Mom and Dad came down from Duluth to celebrate. The only person missing was our dear Miss Tami. She was house sitting for some geriatric dogs and one cat! Here’s a happy puppy picture:That is going to be one happy dog, he’ll always have someone to play with! He is a beautiful mix and I’m praying for Christine that the house training goes quickly!
I was in the mood for a puppy when I decided to play with the Storybook stamp set:I love this stamp set and paper. Reminds me of the Dick and Jane books I leaned to read with. The base of the card is grey and the card stock layer is Baja Breeze, which is one of the colors that will be leaving our color family. You can get it shipped to you FREE today just by giving me a call or ordering by clicking here!
One of my dear stampers gave me a call asking if I could design some cards for her granddaughters to make. The three young ladies were staying with their grandparents for a few nights and Judy thought they would enjoy a little stamping and then a lunch out. So, I designed these two cards:Two very different looks. But, I think by the conversations they liked both of them. We had a lovely time together. I just love the idea of stamping bringing generations together. When we all learn together it levels the playing field. There is so much each generation can share and what a great way to build memories!
Judy thank you for this great opportunity to stamp with you and your granddaughters!
I’ve gabbed a lot. I’m still feeling weak, (what a sissy I am). So, I guess I will close. But I sure would like to hear from you. On just about anything. The cards, the color changes that are coming up…….anything! I’m still working hard at reaching my goal to earn the Grand Vacation. Looks like I’m running a little short, so, if you want to take advantage of the FREE shipping that goes till midnight tonight – order on Sister!
